UK parliament has voted in favour of declaring Palestine Action as a terrorist organisation despite concerns that the move could risk criminalising legitimate protest. Many prominent MPs on Wednesday reacted angrily as they challenged the government’s move. The bill was eventually passed the Commons on Wednesday by 385 votes to 26. The move was initiated by home secretary, Yvette Cooper, who has been at the forefront of supporting the Israeli government. Not too long ago she was seen posing for camera with the controversial Israeli ambassador to the UK.
