Israel’s October 27 election has produced no clear winner. Gadi Eisenkot, Benjamin Netanyahu’s main rival, won the backing of 67 of 120 lawmakers to try to form a government, against 46 for Netanyahu. President Isaac Herzog said mutual vetoes between blocs make the outcome unclear and will name his pick on Sunday. The nominee will get 28 days to build a coalition.
