Following intensive lobbying by representatives of the Israeli government and the arms industry such as Lord Walney, dishonestly presented to the public as ‘independent advisers’, Palestine Action have been branded as a ‘terrorist organisation’, for trying to stop crimes against humanity and for exposing the British government’s complicity in genocide. Over 1,600 have already been arrested after holding signs as part of the Lift The Ban campaign, with 857 arrests on September 6th alone. The most recent action took place outside the Labour party conference in Liverpool on September 28th with approx. 100 sign-holders and 60 arrests.
