Israel has deported two foreign activists who were seized from a Gaza-bound flotilla, according to Israeli authorities and a rights group representing the pair. The two activists — Saif Abu Keshek, a Spanish national of Palestinian origin, and Brazilian activist Thiago Avila — were among dozens of people aboard a flotilla intercepted by the Israeli navy in international waters off the coast of Greece on April 30. Israeli forces seized the two men and brought them to Israel for questioning, while other activists aboard the flotilla were taken to the Greek island of Crete and later released.
