More than a million EU citizens have signed a petition demanding the suspension of the EU-Israel trade pact over human rights violations in Gaza and the Middle East. Spain's Pedro Sanchez, alongside Ireland and Slovenia, are leading the push for sanctions but nations such as Germany and Italy continue to support ‘constructive dialogue’. Israel's Association Agreement with the EU is worth nearly $50 billion a year and discussions within the bloccontinue over its suspension or part suspension. Many European countries are losing patience with Israel over its foreign policy, deepening diversions within the EU. But will Europe finally take action against Israel?
