Human rights are universal. They cannot be permits, revocable by any state on the basis of ethnicity, religion, nationality or birthplace. These manufactured differences are used as tools for divide and conquer. This is exemplified by the mass propaganda campaign claiming Islam is invading "the west" or incompatible with "western values". It's a desecration of religion and reality as primitive and illiterate as the dark ages from which it came. Neither Judaism, Christianity, nor Islam began as new religions. All three started as reform movements — calling for a return to the golden rule: love thy neighbor as thyself. Release false idols, ideas and forms. Surrender to that First Cause which precedes all beginnings, exists after all endings, and maintains everything that is, from the innermost to the outermost. Loving thy neighbor as thyself is the same as loving that First Cause. And that is the same as loving thyself. A perfect circle, harmonious with the first principles of Buddhism, Hinduism, and thousands of indigenous traditions. This is also harmonious with science. Max Planck, the founder of quantum physics, spent his life studying matter and concluded that behind every atom, every particle, every force -- there must exist a First Cause that compels all that is into existence and maintains its laws. The realm of that First Cause is far beyond our scope. We live in the world of humanity -- which has one history, one future, and one home. This world is the nation of humankind. Once we know this, we can begin to know religion.
