Iran Strikes Back: Iran Fires Deadlier Kheibar Missiles at Israel, Haifa Hit | WION

Iran has reportedly launched a new wave of missile strikes targeting cities in Israel, including the northern port city of Haifa. Reports say Iran used its Kheibar-series ballistic missiles during the barrage as fighting between Iran and Israel continues to escalate. The Kheibar missile, also known as Khorramshahr-4, is a medium-range ballistic missile capable of carrying a large warhead and striking targets up to about 2,000 kilometres away. Missile attacks have hit multiple locations in Israel during the conflict, with strikes reported near key infrastructure and urban areas. Earlier barrages targeting Haifa and other cities have caused damage and casualties as air-defence systems attempted interceptions. The latest exchange underscores the growing intensity of the Iran–Israel confrontation, raising fears of a broader regional war.
