Dr James Smith, a British emergency physician who sailed on the Sumud Flotilla two weeks ago, joins Al Jazeera live from London. Also Hassan Jabareen, director of the legal centre Adalah, which has previously represented flotilla activists, joins Al Jazeera live. He explained that flotilla participants were taken to Ashdod port and may face deportation or court hearings within days. He stressed that since the activists were seized in international waters, ‘this is kidnapping, not arrest,’ warning that conditions could worsen due to Yom Kippur.
