Hamas has announced a new attack on Israeli Merkava tank in Gaza. The IDF said that 2 soldiers were killed in separate attacks in the Gaza strip. In one such attack, a tank was reportedly fired upon. Meanwhile, ally of Hamas's armed wing - the Al-Qassam Brigades - conducted a complex ambush in north Gaza. The Al-Quds Brigades said that its fighters targeted about 40 Israeli troops in the area. The armed wing of Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) said that Israeli troops fled and screamed and helicopters were sent to evacuate the casualties. The fighters also reportedly saw charred bodies of the soldiers.
