H.E. Dr Husam Zomlot said in a wide-ranging interview with Piers Morgan on "Piers Uncensored" that the Palestinian people have had to endure Israel' attempts at annihilating them for over 100 years. He criticised the obsession of mainstream media with the news about Israel's losses while the Palestinians, who suffered a genocide, barely get a mention. He said the future can be bright only if Israel's occupation of the Palestinian territory is ended. This cannot happen as proven again and again by the Israeli government. He said the UN Security Council proposed a resolution that called for a ceasefire in Gaza and the release of Israeli hostages, but the USA - on behalf of Israel - vetoed it.
