In a huge development, as many as 300 Foreign Office staff members at different seniority levels in the UK and embassies and missions around the world wrote to the government expressing their fears that the UK had become complicit in Israeli war crimes in Gaza. In response, the bosses in the ministry headed David Lammy told the disgruntled staff to either shut up or resign.
