Youssef Boussoumah is a historian and activist who has been committed to defending the Palestinian cause since the 1980s. A founding member of the Movement of Indigenous Peoples of the Republic (PIR), he participated in the campaign for the Palestinian right of return in 1998 and in the creation of the International Civilian Missions for the Protection of the Palestinian People in 2001. His commitment is characterized by a critical analysis of imperialist policies and a defense of the rights of oppressed peoples.
