Thursday saw an unexpected development in the UK parliament after Foreign Secretary David Lammy updated the House on the development in Gaza. Contrary to how Israel enjoyed plenty of support amongst British MPs in the past, an overwhelming majority of UK’s elected representatives on Thursday appeared disgusted by the latest Israeli action in Gaza. Many demanded that Israel face consequences for breaking the international law and the ceasefire in Gaza.
